ABOUT EL PASO RANCH
Western stories from a bulgarian ranch.
The history of El Paso Ranch is fused with the love of horses, the freedom of open spaces and the spirit of the Wild West. Situated among the hills of Verila and Plana, with spectacular views of Vitosha and Rila, the ranch combines the beauty of Bulgarian nature with the authentic cowboy culture.
Today, El Paso is a place where the traditions of the Western come alive through riding, horse training, and encounters with mustangs, cows, and bulls. The ranch has also been the setting for film productions such as "Rambo: Last Blood" and "Until Death" also acted as a venue for events and special occasions.
It's a story that continues to be written — with every horse ride, every new encounter, and every memory created here. Maybe the next chapter will be yours.

Marti from the Czech Republic.
What started in 2009 with a modest caravan and a small wooden shed for the horses turned into Hollywood's filming location in Bulgaria, professional horse training, Hypotherapy - the charitable therapeutic foundation dedicated to supporting children and adults with various health and psychological challenges. The home of free-roaming American Mustangs, Quarter Horses, and Arabians, as well as cows and bulls. You can thank the person in the photo for all of this — and perhaps the team and volunteers a little bit, too.

Real western cowboys.
Our Western riding instructors are true cowboys and cowgirls, united by the love for horses and the freedom of riding. They combine many years of practical experience, riding on various ranches and participating in competitions with distinctions, and some have been in the saddle since early childhood. In addition to being excellent riders, they are patient and responsive to anyone who wants to learn to ride, they share their knowledge with a smile and help everyone feel confident on the horse. For them, Western riding is not just a skill, but a way of life, built on respect for horses, trust and a true cowboy spirit.
